Who is it for?

People who make music on a Mac and have lost a take. Capture listens the whole time you work and holds the last 30 seconds to an hour. When something good happens, you save it afterwards instead of hoping you pressed record.

What does it actually do?

It holds the recent past in memory and writes a 24-bit WAV when you press save. Nothing is written to disk until you do.

Will it work in my DAW?

It's tested in Ableton Live (VST3), Logic Pro (AU) and Reaper (VST3, AU, CLAP). Other hosts should work but haven't been tested. If yours doesn't, the refund below covers you.

Will it slow my Mac down?

It uses memory in proportion to the buffer length: about 12 MB at 30 seconds, up to 1.4 GB at an hour (stereo, 48 kHz).

Does it send my audio anywhere?

No. It checks your licence and looks for updates. That's all.

What do I get for £25?

The app and the VST3, AU and CLAP plugins, once, for good. All 1.x updates are free. A future major version would be a separate purchase.

What if I don't like it?

Email us within 14 days and we'll refund you in full. No forms, no reasons. If it doesn't work on your machine, the same applies.

Will it run on my Mac?

Apple Silicon, macOS 14.2 or later. Not Intel.

I didn't get my email

After you buy, we email your licence; when you sign in, we email a one-time link. If either isn't in your inbox within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder — new senders sometimes land there. Still nothing? Email support@t5k.fm and we'll sort it.

How do I download Capture?

Your downloads live in your account. Sign in with the one-time link we email you, then download the app from there. Downloads stay available for as long as your licence is active.

Will it run on my Mac?

Capture needs macOS 14.2 or later on an Apple Silicon (M-series) Mac. It does not run on Intel Macs or older macOS. It's a standalone app plus VST3, AU, and CLAP plugins for compatible hosts.

How many machines can I use it on?

One licence covers up to three activations on machines you own or control — your account shows how many you've used. The licence is perpetual and yours; please don't share your key.

I've lost my licence key

It's always in your account — sign in to see it. If you can't get in, email support@t5k.fm from the address you bought with.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. If Capture isn't right for you, email us within 14 days of purchase and we'll refund you in full, no questions asked. If it doesn't work on your machine, the same applies. Full detail is in our Terms.
